Bangalow is located 765km north of Sydney, 167km south of Brisbane and just a little above Byron Bay. Driving from Sydney head north on the F3 Freeway and follow the signs to Ballina. At Ballina take the bypass and continue north along the Pacific Highway for 20km.Take the exit toward Bangalow/Lismore and turn left onto Bangalow Road. Continue for 1km to the town centre.
Driving from Brisbane head south on the Pacific Highway for 150km and take the exit toward Bangalow/Lismore. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Bangalow Road straight onto the main street.

Conveniently located close to International Airports (Coolangatta and Brisbane) and Domestic Airport (Ballina/Byron Bay), from here Bangalow is an easy and scenic drive north or south, along the Pacific Highway by bus, shuttle or car.


The best options for transport to and from Bangalow are bus, shuttle and car.


Buses are available from most major centres (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Byron Bay and Ballina). This is the most cost effective option, however the timetable is
more limiting for a tight timeframe.


If you would prefer a door-to-door service to avoid getting lost or being stuck in bad weather, take a shuttle from Brisbane, Coolangatta or Ballina airports straight to Bangalow.
